چکیده
The consumption of plant-based herbal formulations have been on the increase in recent times, due to their medicinal properties, however, identification, isolation and characterization bioactive constituents for specific health therapy safety remained an issue concern. This research identified, isolated characterized succinic acid from saponin fraction Mangifera indica (mango leaf SPEM) hexamethyl cyclotrisiloxane flavonoid Annona muricata (soursop SPES). Cold maceration was used extraction with ethanol as solvent. GCMS samples mass spectra analysed gravimetric methods constituents. Results screening both revealed presence alkaloids, flavonoids, tannins, phenols, terpenoids saponins. Quantitative analysis crude ethanolic extract yielded 15.15% 20.60% respectively mango soursop leaves. selected phytochemicals high flavonoids saponin, followed by phenol tannin then alkaloids that gave least yield. Succinic Acid Hexamethyl Cyclotrisiloxane were predominant organic compounds, administered two phases a group randomly distributed mice acute toxicity test (LD50). first phase involved oral administration 10, 100 1000 mg/kg body weight, 1600, 2900 5000 weight extracts. showed fractions SPEM (Succinic Acid) found be non-toxic at doses ≤ b.w (body weight) while SPES (Hexamethyl Cyclotrisiloxane) b.w. We conclude therefore, are safe low about

Acute and Long-Term Toxicity of Mango Leaves Extract in Mice and Rats
The acute toxicity of mango leaves extract (MLE) at the maximal dose (18.4 g/kg) was studied in ICR mice and no abnormalities were detected during the experiment. The long-term studies at various doses of MLE (100 mg/kg, 300 mg/kg, and 900 mg/kg) in SD rats for 3 consecutive months revealed that, compared with the control group, rats in MLE treated groups showed slight body weight increase and ...

Effect of Acute Toxicity of Cadmium in Mice Kidney Cells
Background: Cadmium is one of the most toxic heavy metals in our environment having a very strong ability to accumulate in body organs, especially in kidney. The present study was done to determine the genotoxicity and cytotoxicity in kidneys of rats exposed to cadmium. Methods: Male rats (n=30), kept in standard conditions were used in this study. The animals were randomly divided into 2 group...
متن کامل[Acute toxicity of Xanthium spinosum leaves in BALB/C mice].
The leaves of the Xanthium spinosum plant have been used culturally in Paraguay for their medicinal properties. Acute toxicity of mature leaf extract was evaluated. For the study, 35 Balb/c mice were selected and allocated into 7 groups, 6 test groups and 1 control group. The extract was prepared in concentrations of 6% and 9% (g/dL). The 6% concentration was administrated to 3 test groups and ...
متن کاملAssessment of extract of Carum Carvi on acute and chronic pain in mice in formalin test in mice
Few previous investigations show that Carum Carvi (CC) may control pain in both animal and human. The aim of this work was to assess the role of CC on acute and chronic pain in formalin test in mice. In this study male albino mice (25-30 g) were used. CC (100 and 500 mg/kg) and saline were injected 30 min before formalin test. Indexes of signs were licking and foot elavation for assessment of a...
